A Tradition of Innovation
The Hochschule für Internationales Management is a state-recognised university of applied sciences accredited by the State of Baden-Württemberg.
bachelor and master programmes have been accredited by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA), in line with specifications set down by the German higher education system, and the Centre for Inclusion and Collaborative Partnerships (CICP) of the Open University adhering to the specifications set down by the British higher education system. We were accredited by the Open University for the first time in 2006.
Our double accreditation means that we combine within our study programme the strengths of two study systems and can thus offer you an outstanding academic concept: with our Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes you earn a double degree.
The HIM grew out of a vocational school founded in Heidelberg back in 1946. We therefore have a long tradition of vocational training and have been qualifying young people for careers in international business for over 65 years.
Today the business school is still based in Heidelberg, where our premises, complete with all modern amenities, offer you a study environment with a personal touch for your studies in Heidelberg, Germany. It is very well served by the public transport network and you can reach the tram and bus stops within minutes.
