Hintergrund The module explores the theoretical and practical significance of a range of contemporary issues in management, marketing, tourism, event and cultural management. Debate and critical evaluations of these issues will be encouraged through module delivery based on self directed study with guidance in the form of seminar discussions. The module plays an integrative role within the programme in that it enables students to take a multidisciplinary view of critical developments in their pathway subject, and to find links between these issues and their previous learning.
Modulziele This module aims to:
1) help students develop a holistic, integrated understanding of management and business issues and challenges;
2) provide an opportunity for students to evaluate how organisations (should) respond to changes in the international
    business environment by relating theories and concepts within the management disciplines to current developments;
3) develop critical thinking, research and information management skills.
